Coonie is a fairly regular night visitor. If we moved away we'd miss her. Wildlife photography normally requires a long lens. However, in this case, the photos were taken at a distance of about a foot to a few feet away, and so only a wide-angle-through-slight-telephoto lens (17-50mm) was needed!

Yes, she is! Thanks for your comment. Haven't seen her for several days, perhaps even more than a week. Hope she's doing well. See my new post... not about a happy event, I believe. AMI's been sold to an Ariz. company and will no longer exist. Hope the new owner keeps the facilities here.
